Would you like to build a home in the Caribbean, this is not a single country but a whole collection of small ones. 

Some islands are ideal, others less so, and we are developing two web sites devoted to this topic, 

• The first at www.self-build-caribbean.com  is an information only site. It looks at what is involved in developing a home or holiday home on each island, where each is located, how each is ruled, and the sort of costs involved. This is intended as a general site for everyone to use who is interested in self build or even just buying an existing holiday home on any of the islands of the Caribbean. This we hope to have running near the middle of 2005 live, but an earlier temporary site will be available to members at a different web address, while we test it out and check out all the facts.

• The second site at www.self-build-caribbean.org  looks at club services, cooperative arrangements we have and other topics relevant to members. We also expect to have a lot of details on deals available and photos of locations, plots, properties that could be redeveloped etc.. It is likely to be a sign on site, only available to our members only. The exact date for this to go live is not set.

Caribbean residents: We are always pleased to welcome you as members of this club. Our club services are in English. If not a native English speaker than you do need to have some knowledge of English or a person you trust who can translate for you, .but we will do our very best to make sure that we explain to you any aspect of our services that interests you in any country. If it makes it simpler for you we can write everything to you or down for you. The best place to start is by emailing us, telling us what you want to do, where and why and we will then suggest the best way that we can help you and which of the people we use who we feel can help you best.
